Born in Frankfurt, Germany and raised in a multicultural household, Natalie Ishizuka has always been compelled to travel. 

In 2007 she graduated from Millfield School in Somerset, England, after which she traveled to Fiji and Cambodia to research marine biology and teach English at a monastery, respectively. 

She studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, USA and graduated in 2012 with a BFA in the Fibers Arts. Following she spent a year in NYC working for artists such as Petah Coyne and has since settled near Frankfurt, Germany.

Recently she started working for  P.I.A. Hi-Fi Vertriebs GmbH, the german distributor of Accuphase, in the marketing and advertising department. Furthermore, she has joined Schuhbelle in their endeavors to create a sanctuary for lovers of quality over quantity in their exclusive shoe store in Frankfurt, designing and installing Schuhbelle's window displays.
